Why work with Isle Architects?

Norfolk and East Anglia Architectural Services: Architecture, Sustainability & Heritage, Energy Efficiency and Retrofitting provided in a direct, personal way.

Added value

The architect's contribution to your project extends far beyond a set of drawings and aesthetics. It influences the performance, value and perception of the building and its surroundings. Our personal and direct approach results in a design suitable for each client, location and conditions. Together we will formulate the brief, look at different design options, and incorporate the statutory requirements at the early stages to make the whole process as smooth as possible.

Appointing your architect

The RIBA provides a full range of flexible Appointment Agreements suitable for use with any size and complexity of projects. Depending on the client's needs, we recommend a range of particular skills and services custom tailored and specific to your requirements throughout the project.

A good working relationship between architect and client is crucial to the success of any project. We will discuss and agree on the architectural services' scope and cost before the project begins and ensure that the agreement is in writing.

Why you should choose a RIBA Chartered Practice and work with an Architect

RIBA Chartered Practices are quality-assured and committed to design excellence and customer service.

All RIBA Chartered Practices:

  • employ a required number of individual RIBA Chartered Architects

  • have appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance

  • have an effective Quality Management system

  • have comprehensive Health and Safety and Environmental policies in place

  • Architects are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with a Code of Practice in a manner appropriate to their status.

The cost of architectural services

Architects' fees will vary depending on the project's location, complexity, and service level expected from them. The fee can be based on a total project cost percentage, on a fixed price lump sum or on a time charge basis.

How much or how little you commission an architect is up to you - from an initial design discussion to the final delivery of the project on-site.

RIBA Plan of Work provides a framework for all building projects, it is a management tool for the UK construction industry. I can explain details during our first meeting so the client can be fully informed and in control of the architectural services they may be considering.
